Community Involvement

Independent National Bank takes great pride in our community.  The officers and staff are encouraged to participate, and take leadership roles, in various organizations in our community.

In 2007 we conducted our United Way Campaign, and the bank was able to increase our contributions by 325 % over our contribution, with $10,442.  Several of our officers help United Way by serving either on the Board or on the Allocations Committees.

We actively support the March of Dimes of Marion County, raising funds throughout the year with candy and Beanie Babies sales.  In addition, we have a large number of our employees participate in the annual walk in April.  We are happy to announce that Independent National Bank was the top Community Bank for the 2008 March for Babies fundraiser, raising $7,649.
